Things like your pet hamster, candles, and incense are probably going to be forbidden, regardless of what college you plan to attend. Even things like halogen lamps and power strips could be prohibited.
2Get Your Affairs Straightened Out
In some states, children can remain on their parent’s insurance policies until the age of 26 if they live at home. If you are going to live on-campus while in college, you may still be eligible for this coverage. It is a good idea to find out before you leave for the start of the semester.

3You May Not Like Your First Roommate
