Is Disney World Worth It?

On an average day, the Magic Kingdom, alone, is filled with around 60,000 visitors. This is only one of six different parks on Disney World’s property, including two water parks.

Disney World attracts millions of people, but some are starting to wonder if the prices are worth the experience.

So, is Disney World worth it?

Read on to find out more about Disney World, how much it costs, and how you can save money next time you go.

The Base Cost of Disney World Tickets

A basic Disney World ticket gets you into one park per day. As we mentioned earlier, there are six parks on Disney World’s grounds. If you want to see all six with basic tickets, you’re going to need six tickets per person.

The cost per ticket does go down the longer you intend to stay. For example, you can expect to pay between $109-$159 per ticket if you’re only staying for one day. However, if you stay for six days to spend one day at each park, the cost per ticket goes down to $75-$103.

Are Park Hopper Passes Worth the Increased Price?

If you want to make your Disney World trip most worthwhile, we do recommend getting park hopper passes. They come at an increased price, but they give you the ability to leave one park and head to another on the same day.

If you’re only staying for one day, a park hopper pass (which operates as your ticket, not an additional fee) will cost between $174-$224. These prices also go down the more days you stay.

Why is it worth it? You may find that some parks don’t appeal to you as much as others. With a park hopper pass, you can spend less time in a park you aren’t crazy about and more time in a park you love.

Plus, park hopper passes make it possible to see all six parks in fewer than six days. Trust us when we say that you won’t want to miss any of these parks, even if you just stop by for a quick visit.

Should I Join the Disney Vacation Club?

If you’re finding yourself making Disney World vacation plans on a regular basis, you may be wondering about the Disney Vacation Club. DVC is Disney’s privately owned timeshare that makes regular visits more plausible. However, membership fees can be pretty steep.

That’s why we’ve sought out the best DVC deals around. Head to the DVC store to get DVC resales or rentals at a discounted price.

Is Disney World Worth It? We Say Yes

Paying over $100 a day for a ticket can seem like a lot and probably makes you wonder, is Disney World worth it? At the end of the day, nothing compares to the magic of Disney. Plus, there are plenty of ways to customize your trip and find deals on things like DVC resales and rentals.
