Being open-minded and self-aware are also telltale signs of intelligence. An intelligent individual understands that neither they nor anyone else has all the answers. As such, they remain open-minded to other perspectives, opinions, and possibilities.
An intelligent person knows how to sit on a fence. For it is from that position that they can clearly see both sides of an argument.
The moment someone takes a firm stance on an issue, they become biased. Because of these biases, people become easily manipulated and triggered. They lose sight of the facts and lose all perspective.
An intelligent person is also highly self-aware. They know their strengths, their weaknesses, and their potential.
3Curiosity and Creativity
Another one of the most common signs of intelligence is creativity. Therefore, you should encourage free-thinking and problem-solving when raising an intelligent child. Propel them to find new, better ways of completing tasks.
Creative people also make music, art, fashion, technology, and more. They are entertainers and designers. There are even famous members of honor societies who became well-known and wealthy through the art of being creative.
Curiosity and creativity often go hand in hand. A natural curiosity suggests a willingness to learn and discover new things. If you’re a curious person, indulge in your questions and find answers, no matter how insignificant they may seem.
An intelligent person is in a perpetual state of learning.
